When you first enter virology, you will find yourself in the reception room. '''Virology Lab'''<br>
If you go south of reception you will find yourself in the lab. There are spaces for two virologists to work on opposite sides of the room. Each workstation contains a PanD.E.M.I.C 2200, a preloaded sample storage containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture, tables containing a medical HUD and space cleaner, a (unlimited) virus food dispenser, and a biohazard closet. There is also an All-In-One Grinder, which is useful for grinding things such as plasma sheets (conveniently, plasma sheets are placed next to the grinder), and a virus extrapolator.

Virology is the spot to test diseases, except not on humans. You, the [[Virologist]], have a vending machine containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture. It also contains plasma, formaldehyde, and a variety of other materials used for mutating viruses. There's also a dispenser which contains an unlimited supply of virus food. You have a monkey pen, which contains monkeys which practically never used except for as a blood source, and some isolation rooms, which are for when you inevitably fuck up and infect yourself with brain rot. There is a locked medicine locker and a biosuit locker. There is also a pen of five monkeys to test on plus a couple isolation rooms.
In the lab you will also find a NanoMed Plus, a ViroDrobe, and a medical crate containing bottles of chemicals.

'''Virology Testing and Treatment'''<br>
East of the lab is the testing and treatment area. This room is split into a few sections. To the north you will find two quarantine rooms, each fitted with a bed and closet. There are airlocks leading into Medbay that can be closed with shutters by using a button on the wall. Virology is located to the very south of Medbay, near the Chief Medical Officer's Office. It requires virology access to enter, which the virologist starts with. Some jobs, such as the Medical Doctor, will gain access if the crew is understaffed.

Virology is split into a few areas: reception, the lab, and testing and treatment.

Virology Reception
When you first enter virology, you will find yourself in the reception room. This room contains a PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 machine and a ChemMaster 3000, to save you having to walk all the way up to Chemistry to use theirs. There are spaceacillin syringes and bottles on the glass tables here, which are useful for preventing viruses from spreading. Next to the machines is a storage smartfridge, which can store and dispense virus samples. Along the southern wall are three closets, containing standard biohazard gear.

Virology Lab
If you go south of reception you will find yourself in the lab. There are spaces for two virologists to work on opposite sides of the room. Each workstation contains a PanD.E.M.I.C 2200, a preloaded sample storage containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture, tables containing a medical HUD and space cleaner, a (unlimited) virus food dispenser, and a biohazard closet. There is also an All-In-One Grinder, which is useful for grinding things such as plasma sheets (conveniently, plasma sheets are placed next to the grinder), and a virus extrapolator.

In the lab you will also find a NanoMed Plus, a ViroDrobe, and a medical crate containing bottles of chemicals.

Virology Testing and Treatment
East of the lab is the testing and treatment area. This room is split into a few sections. To the north you will find two quarantine rooms, each fitted with a bed and closet. There are airlocks leading into Medbay that can be closed with shutters by using a button on the wall. The east of the testing room contains a monkey pen with a few monkeys and a larger quarantine room to the south of this. You will find handcuffs here for the less cooperative patients.

Careful when you're flushing anything down the disposals here: it's one of the few chutes which leads straight out into space.

Virology is located north of Medbay, near the Chief Medical Officer's Office. It requires virology access to enter, which the virologist starts with. Some jobs, such as the Medical Doctor, will gain access if the crew is understaffed.

Virology is split into two areas: the ward and the breakroom.

Virology Ward
When you first enter virology, if you go west you will find a PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 machine and a ChemMaster 3000, to save you having to walk all the way up to Chemistry to use theirs. There are spaceacillin syringes and bottles on the tables here, which are useful for preventing viruses from spreading. East of the entrance airlock are some tables containing virus extrapolators.

North of here are four small quarantine pens, an All-In-One Grinder, which is useful for grinding things such as plasma sheets (conveniently, plasma sheets are placed next to the grinder), a preloaded sample storage containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture, an (unlimited) virus food dispenser, and another PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 and ChemMaster 3000. You will find handcuffs here for the less cooperative patients.

West of here is a room containing a handful of monkeys.

Virology Breakroom
The breakroom contains a microwaveable supply of donk pockets, a ViroDrobe, a few various closets, and spare monkey cubes. North of here you will find a medical crate containing bottles of chemicals.

Medical

Virology is located to the very south of Medbay. It requires virology access to enter, which the virologist starts with. Some jobs, such as the Medical Doctor, will gain access if the crew is understaffed.

Virology is split into two areas: the ward and the monkey pen area.

Virology Ward
When you first enter virology, you will find yourself here. This room contains a PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 machine and a ChemMaster 3000, to save you having to walk all the way up to Chemistry to use theirs. There are spaceacillin syringes and bottles on the glass tables here, which are useful for preventing viruses from spreading. To the east are two closets containing standard biohazard gear.

If you go south you will find a workstation for the virologist. It contains another PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 and ChemMaster 3000, a preloaded sample storage containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture, a (unlimited) virus food dispenser, and two virus extrapolators.

You will also find a ViroDrobe and a medical crate containing bottles of chemicals.

Monkey Pen
West of the ward is a room containing a monkey pen and a handful of monkeys. You will find handcuffs here for the less cooperative patients.

Careful when you're flushing anything down the disposals here: it's one of the few chutes which leads straight out into space.

Virology is located to the south-east of Medbay. It requires virology access to enter, which the virologist starts with. Some jobs, such as the Medical Doctor, will gain access if the crew is understaffed.

Virology is split into two areas: the ward and the isolation room.

Virology Ward
When you first enter virology, you will find yourself in the ward. This room contains two PanD.E.M.I.C 2200 machines. There are spaceacillin syringes and bottles on the tables here, which are useful for preventing viruses from spreading. Next to the machines is a storage smartfridge, which can store and dispense virus samples, and a preloaded sample storage containing both rhinovirus and a common cold culture. Along the western wall are four closets, two containing standard biohazard gear.

If you go south you will find a workstation containing ChemMaster 3000, to save you having to walk all the way to Chemistry to use theirs, tables containing medical HUDs and space cleaner, a (unlimited) virus food dispenser, a ViroDrobe, and a NanoMed Plus. There is also an All-In-One Grinder, which is useful for grinding things such as plasma sheets (conveniently, plasma sheets are placed next to the grinder), and a virus extrapolator.

Isolation Room
West of the ward is another room where you will find a medical crate containing bottles of chemicals, spare monkey cubes, and handcuffs for the less cooperative patients. Along the southern wall are four very small isolation chambers. Towards the north is a large monkey pen containing a few monkeys.

Careful when you're flushing anything down the disposals here: it's one of the few chutes which leads straight out into space.
