Every person on working on Space Station 13 is assigned an Identification Card. ID cards have a person's name, job and access on them, ID cards can be modified in an Identification Console (You need another ID card with ID Console access) and Color Manipulator. If you are wearing something that covers your face, an ID is the only way for people to identify you, if your face is covered and you are not wearing an ID, you will show up as "Unknown".
