BoxStation
Box Station is widely regarded as the "Face" of SS13. The map is designed around a central command "Box" with hallways to each department extending in all four directions, providing a simplistic and easy to learn layout for players.

MetaStation
MetaStation created by Metacide as an alternative to the default BoxStation map for /TG/. Various edited versions have run on NoxStation, /vg/, and Paradise Station. It's one of the oldest maps in the code but its general layout has stayed the same.

DeltaStation
Delta Station is a map heavily influenced by Meta and Box, with a large centralized bridge area. Intended for higher populations, the map features a more fleshed out and spacious interior lushly decorated and accomodating a large number of potted plants. A large maintenance with a number of useful half-built rooms and areas give antagonists a large variety of spacious areas to make their on station bases and hiding places.

FlandStation
A former Syndicate outpost that Nanotrasen took over. Fland Station is a map designed with high population in mind. This station's departments are pretty spread out, the map featuring large common areas and hallways for the crew to enjoy. It also features unusual designs that aren't shared by any other stations, such as the Prison Wing being on an asteroid and the Brig being located at the core of the station.

This map was created for Beestation and is being maintained by PigeonVerde.

KiloStation
Kilo Station is an older model NT station, built into the side of an asteroid. It's a tight and compact map, featuring expansive maintenance, detail-packed areas, rusted walls, boarded up maintenance rooms, and areas with cosmetic damage are common. North east of the station is an abandoned freight dock providing a good spot for any entrepreneurial cults or antagonists needing a base of operations.

This map was created by Okand37.

RadStation
RadStation is the third active map unique to Beestation, It began its development in late 2022 and was first introduced into early rotation during the summer of 2023. This particular map was specifically designed to cater to mid-low population, focusing on optimizing small spaces and with gameplay in mind. Though slightly smaller then KiloStation, you'd be forgiven for not thinking so during gameplay thanks to its expansive 4 wide hallways and open center.

Developed by BriggsIDP/Floria for Beestation following the footsteps of Fland and Glow.

CorgStation
CorgStation was the first truly unique map to beestation, not taking any major inspiration from another map. It features a large central drydock for the arrivals shuttle, an expansive and secluded chapel, and a hidden away in maintance assessable asteroid.

This map was developed by our Head coder and maintainer Powerfulbacon

[[EchoStation]]
EchoStation is located below the beautiful frozen oceanic planet of 5513-E above a dormant volcanic basin. Because of this it sometimes experiences unique issues unlike other station; including Winter Freezes, and a breathable atmosphere. The map is designed for lower populations requiring many departments to work in close quarters, due to staffing being severely limited. Not only are some departments simply absent (like exploration), others require one person to potentially work multiple positions.

Developed by BriggsIDP/Floria for Beestation for low population timezones.

Not In Rotation

Station Description

RuntimeStation
RuntimeStation is a map included with the game's source code that is used for locally testing new features. The map is small and relatively simple, meaning that the client will be able to enter the game quicker than if the server was running a fully featured map.

CardStation
Cardinal Station is a station based around 4 central corridors running in cardinal directions. Despite being about as large as Fland Station in footprint, it's departments are placed and laid out is such a way as to ensure player interaction. It's been described by many as a giant space mall

It is not currently in the active map rotation due to still being in active development

Outdated, or Removed

Station Description

GlowStation
Glowstation. One of the largest and first acquired terrestrial stations in the sector. A former syndicate shipyard located on lavaland's frozen moon. The station is built inside a cliff, with Its 5 floors going from deep underground all the way to its peak. With a SuperMatter crystal chamber at its core. Its layout depicts 5 floors, with all but the bottom most consisting of central rings with 4 hallways leaving them. The station has a large array of shuttledocks and a drydock for shuttle construction.

This map was the third map unique to Beestation created by kit_katz but was later removed because of performance and gameplay issues.

PubbyStation
PubbyStation was first added to /tg/station's rotation in late 2016. It was created by Pubby, who stated that his goal was "to create a lowpop map derived from my favorite parts of Box and Meta." It shares quite a bit in terms of layout with other popular maps while retaining a distinct identity thanks to its unique design and features.

DonutStation
Donutstation is a faithful recreation of the original 2012 Goonstation map called, well, Donutstation. Keeping in theme with the original layout, most of the design stays the same while bringing it to a modern age and a different code branch.

AsteroidStation
AsteroidStation is a Nanotrasen facility embedded into a gigantic asteroid. AsteroidStation is a replacement for MetaStation, which was previously run on Badger, and is now the default map on the second official /tg/ server, It has not been play-tested very extensively, but has been generally well received. Due to this lack of play-testing, there some bugs, and gameplay changes and balancing still need to be made.

BirdStation
Birdstation is an older station that has long since been removed from rotation on bee.

CereStation
CereStation is a map with influence from MetaStation and DeltaStation, but with an attempt at creating isolation aspects even on larger crew populations.

DiscStation
DiscStation is a partially-functioning map available on the bee codebase as an alternative to the default map

DreamStation
Dreamstation This map is no longer used as a default included map on bee

EfficiencyStation
The main idea behind Efficiency Station was to make mining the central part of the station, and to surround it with all the departments that immediately need it (robotics, R&D, chemistry, cargo, etc.) to minimize transport times. This design has changed over time, as well with what should directly border that central market area. Furthermore, I made sure to put the main departmental connections side-by-side (chemistry's acid to R&D, R&D to robotics, hydro to kitchen). After that it was just a matter of figuring out where to put security, the bridge, and engineering as medical and science would always be near the center. -W. Johnston, the developer

MiniStation
A mod of tgstation 13 that is modified for low population servers; with simplified jobs, maps, duties and command structure.

OmegaStation
OmegaStation is a map created by Okand37. It is designed to be a lowpop map, where Heads of staff are limited to one Captain, one Head of Personnel, and one AI. Jobs such as medical doctors and engineers have their available slots reduced to accommodate the smaller station size, among other departments with missing staffing, or equipment.

Map Rotation

Maps not listed here can be found at the legacy maps page. The Map Rotation system currently works on a combination of voting and checking the amount of people on the server to choose a suitable map. The current, and next selected, map information are located in the 'Status' tab.
