12 Antagonist Conduct

For the sake of this section, an antagonist is any role which is declared as hostile by the Escalation Policy, as well as any round-start or mid-round role that is clearly introduced as an antagonist in-game but does not have a corresponding entry.

While antagonists are supposed to be the enemies of the station, above all you should seek to make the round more engaging and fun as the star of the show. As the antagonist you will be the main opposition of the station. Expect to be treated as an enemy to the station, and expect to have security on your back. While antagonists are not required to perform their jobs, you should of course expect in-character punishment and suspicion if you fail to perform these duties.

Antagonists are exempt from the power-gaming rules and may always assume that there is a threat against them. Antagonists are not required to perform their standard job duties. Antagonists who are part of a team must work to complete any shared objectives. Antagonists which are station crew do not need a reason to perform non high-impact actions. Non-crew antagonists must follow their stated role in Escalation Policy. Antagonists may perform any high impact action when it is justified by the antagonist's role. High impact actions are any actions which: Puts in additional, unreasonable, and unnecessary effort to make a victim impossible to recover after they have already been killed. Predictably results in the near-complete destruction of the station or the deaths of a majority of the crew. Antagonists may be asked to stop if they are repeatedly using methods to perform high-impact actions which are unfair. To be considered unfair, something must have no reasonable method that it could have been prevented. To be punishable, the action must be something that occurs semi-frequently over multiple rounds, players will not be punished for doing something that later turns out to be unfair. Actions which are not high-impact do not fall under the purview of this rule.
