Am I the only person in here who thinks the new telescience system is shit? Seriously, I used to regularly use Telescience, but simply won't bother anymore since it's considerably less hassle to just walk to where you want to go, or even break into EVA and snag the required goodies to get to non-station locations. I'd definitely be in favour of changing it back. [[User:Mort432|Mort432]] ([[User talk:Mort432|talk]]) 16:57, 10 December 2013 (CET)

It's quite awesome, you know. With additional crystals there are really no borders for your robustness.

Definitely nay. The very existence of that spreadsheet is already ruining the purpose of this overly complicated system. Add it to the guide and we'll have a load of scientists who are 'meh i can't do math but here's a neat thingy that thinks for me'. What's the point of playing a Scientist then? For archival purposes I've rescued the dead Dropbox links via Wayback Machine with archived versions. Due to the author erroneously saving the files as JPEG, which caused the file size to blow up to extreme sizes (Boxstation map is 35 MB!), many of these cannot be hosted on the wiki itself due to the file size limit. Please do not replace these with third party image/file as their uptime/rentation is not guranteed. These images may be required to be remade and properly compressed as PNG if they are to be uploaded on this wiki due to the lossy nature of JPEG. Revised

Page revised to include a more comprehensive and useful guide. Now even the clown should be able to work this su- OH SHIT WHAT HAVE I DONE.Mort432 (talk) 13:43, 13 November 2013 (CET)

Except that isn't how the teleporter works anymore Giacom (talk) 20:25, 13 November 2013 (CET)

The teleporter doesn't use co-ordinates as an input, why is this here? Giacom (talk) 14:16, 15 November 2013 (CET)

I don't know, why are you complaining about it rather then changing/fixing it? - Deantwo (talk) 14:28, 15 November 2013 (CET)
Giacom seems to think that someone from the community should fix it. Which is a nigh impossible situation.--Iamgoofball (talk) 20:03, 15 November 2013 (CET)
This copy and paste from Goon though is misleading and I would write a guide if I was good at explaining stuff. Also Iamgoofball stop thinking that every player is a moron who must be spoonfed information please. Giacom (talk) 20:27, 15 November 2013 (CET)
None of it was copypasted from goon? At least, what I did wasn't copypasted from their wiki.--Iamgoofball (talk) 23:06, 15 November 2013 (CET)
I can confirm that none of this was copy-pasted from Goon. I wrote it myself by hand, based on how TG Station code works on Yogstation. Mort432 (talk) 18:05, 19 November 2013 (CET)

OK, someone clearly needs to resolve this and explain how telescience works comprehensively and correctly, because us over at Yogstation are using your server code and this is how it works over on our server. As far as I'm aware, this is still how it works and how it always works. When was telescience changed over on your server? Mort432 (talk) 18:04, 19 November 2013 (CET)

Very recently. Tell Hardy to update sometime.--Iamgoofball (talk) 19:59, 19 November 2013 (CET)

Yogstation got updated today, now no one knows how to use it anymore :D and the book ingame is reffering to the wrong wiki page. Bobylein (Talk) 18:47, 21 November 2013 (CET)

Dear God Why

Am I the only person in here who thinks the new telescience system is shit? Seriously, I used to regularly use Telescience, but simply won't bother anymore since it's considerably less hassle to just walk to where you want to go, or even break into EVA and snag the required goodies to get to non-station locations. I'd definitely be in favour of changing it back. Mort432 (talk) 16:57, 10 December 2013 (CET)
