| A potentially devastating weapon made from a [[Welding_Tool|welding tool]], some spare parts, and a plasma tank. It creates a stream of flame that briefly superheats the air. It has a range of about three tiles and is most effective against [[xenos|alien]] weeds, [[blob]]s and [[Space_Vines|space vines]]. Moving targets foolish enough to stay near the stream of flame will be killed within seconds, making it a powerful weapon when combined with an incapacitating weapon such as a tazer. The flame itself isn't why it is dangerous, but the heat it creates will kill blobs or other nearly invincible creatures with ease.
