What should I expect from this guide?
This guide is more focused on a flow how to act in medical situations. Follow one by one.
- If you play these jobs, you must know all knowledge of this guide.
- Medical Doctor
- Paramedic
- Brig Physician (You are not a security. You are just a medic in the security.)
- Chief Medical Officer, of course.
- If you play other medical jobs, this knowledge is less needed, but knowing them is good.
- Virologist
- Chemist
- Geneticist
- Even if you're not a medic, this is helpful to cure your friends.
Preparation
- Grab them from Medbay Storage:
Doctoring glance with Health Scanner HUD
As long as you see a virus, you need to cure them. Just yell to your chemist crew what you need after touching your patient with Health Analyzer.
Health Analyzer
Now use your health analyzer to your patient.
- Check if they're dead or alive. If dead, Check Dead section.
- Brute Damage
- Alive: <sleeper File:Sleeper.gif
- Dead: Surgery
- Burn Damage
- Under 50:
- 50~179:
- Over 180:
- Toxin Damage
- The value is not very important.
- If not Oozeling/Slime people
- Alive: Cure them with normal treatment.
- Critical:
- Put them into Cryogenics.
- Filter blood.
- If Oozeling/Sime people
- DO. NOT. GIVE. THEM. ANY. CURE.
- Ordinary treatments for toxin are noxious for them. Only one exception is Cryoxadone along with cryogenics.
- To cure their toxin damage, you should give them any toxin, literally.
- Alive: give them fluorine+Welding Fuel, a pair of very basic chemical, as the same amount to their toxin damage. (1u = heals 1 toxin damage *2 chemicals.)
- Critical: Put them into Cryogenics.
- Suffocation Damage
- Naturally cured in most situations.
- There's not much necessity to act against this damage.
- If It's too high, Try CPR. (Click a lot to the chest of the target with a raw hand.)
- If you are IPC/Borg or have Self-respiration virus,
- Virus detected
- Sometimes a virus is a good thing even if HUD says . You must check the virus name, not just curing them all. The virologist sometimes stick with a harmful virus with a countering virus. (i.e. Oxy damage by Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome virus, and cure it by Self-respiration virus.)
- Otherwise, give them a cure that a virus says.
- Certain quirks detected
- Acute Blood Deficiency quirk:
- Their body lose blood instead of producing it. Check Lack of blood section.
- Brain Tumor quirk
- They periodically take brain damage. If not cared well, they get more traumas due to brain damage.
- give them some Mannitol. Mannitol 50u lasts 250 seconds.
- If they have Trauma, check Trauma section.
- You can not do anything for other bad quirks except for above ones.
- Acute Blood Deficiency quirk:
- Bleeding
- Just use Gauze.
- Sometimes a sharp weapon(i.e. Throwing Star) causes continuous bleeding. Surgery to remove them.
- Lack of blood
- Most patients don't need any treatment for lack of blood because they can make blood themselves.
- Blood donation.
- Trauma
- Organ damage
- Brain
- Heart
- lungs, liver, stomach, appendix, ears, eyes
- Cellular damage (AKA Clone damage)
- Nanites detected
- Nanites mean a kind of nano-robots in their bloodstream.
- Not a very big deal, unless they're harmful.
- If they're harmful, You can't do anything. Send the patient to R&D and let Scientists fix their nanites.
- Radiation
- Shower
- Potassium Iodine, Pentetic Acid
- Chemicals detected
- Overdose: You don't know what the fuck that reagent would do when it is overdosed. Just remember that overdosed reagent mostly deals toxin damage.
- Addicted: You can not help with this one.
- You detect nothing, but when your patient says...
- Hallucination
- Give them Synaptizine.
When a supermatter crystal is collapsed, everyone gets hallucination. Prepare them.(Confirmation needed)
- Yells "COCKSUCKER!" "TITS!" "FUCK!"
- If you already did Radiation treatment, they possibly have bad genes. Send them to the genetics.
- In case of nothing is detected in their gene, It is just a side effect of Radiation. Do Radiation treatment.
- Says in an incorrect sentence. Let your patient say "a b c d e f." and see what they say: "c d a b f e."
- In case of nothing is detected in their gene, they possibly have bad genes. Send them to the genetics.
- If you see nothing from their gene, It is just a side effect of Radiation. Do Radiation treatment.
- Explains they can't say anything as body language.
- If you already did Radiation treatment, they possibly have bad genes. Send them to the genetics.
- In case of nothing is detected in their gene, It is just a side effect of Radiation. Do Radiation treatment.
- Their appearance is changed (i.e. Lost hairs, sex changed)
- Side effect of radiation. No way to cure them unless gene data of their previous appearance is saved. (Clone or genetic identity)
- Although their hairs can be grown with Barber's Aid chemical.
- can't stop doing weird actions (i.e. "You must shove anyone you meet." in their brain.)
- Possible brainwash. (I don't know how to fix it.)
- If not, just a bad joke or being an asshole.
- Vomits a lot.
- If a felinid had a cholcolate... Give them Charcoal.
- Hallucination
Medicine treatment Guide

Advanced preparation
Game start
- Grab things from the medbay storage. You know what you need - if you read this guide well.
- Wrench the cryogenics canisters, and set the white machine's temperature at 73K and turn it on.
- Mount a defibrillator wall mount to a wall near the stasis bed. There is one in the CMO's closet.
- Build a computer frame near the stasis bed. It'll be completed to build when R&D researches the operating computer board.
Before the shuttle
- Have the materials to build one operating computer at least - and build them at the shuttle.
- an operating computer needs things below to build:
- Wire (5), Iron (5), Glass (5), Operating Computer Board (1), and two tools: Wrench, Driver.
- Use < Iron (5) and make Computer Frame. ("Use" means literally Using it at your hand.)
- < Wrench the frame.
- Input Operating Computer Board.
- < Screwdriver it.
- Input < Wires. (examining a wire says how much it is stacked)
- Input < Glass.
- Screwdriver it.
- Wire (5), Iron (5), Glass (5), Operating Computer Board (1), and two tools: Wrench, Driver.
