Head of Security
Code Green
- The Head of Security is permitted to carry out arrests under the same conditions as their Security Officers.
- The Head of Security is permitted to carry any non-lethal weaponry, plus a concealed lethal sidearm.
- The Head of Security is not obligated, but encouraged, to allow legal representation should the suspect request it.
- The Head of Security is responsible for reporting poor, illegal, and harmful decisions made by the Captain to Central Command. If the Captain is arrested for breaking Space Law, Central Command must be notified with a full report.
- The Head of Security must follow the same guidelines as the Warden for Armory equipment.
- The Head of Security is not permitted to collect equipment from the Armory to carry on their person.
- The Head of Security may not overrule established sentences, unless further evidence is brought to light or the prisoner in question attempts to escape.
- The Head of Security is responsible for the actions of Security Officers, and is expected to terminate officers that actively break guidelines and SOP.
- Lethal force is not permitted unless the person poses an immediate threat to your life. Refer to lethal force guidelines as described in Space Law.
Code blue
- All Code Green guidelines except 3, 6, 7, and 9 are carried over.

Warden
Code Green
- The Warden may not perform arrests if there are Security Officers active.
- The Warden is responsible for Armory equipment. Make sure that equipment is returned when it is no longer needed.
- The Warden must conduct a thorough search of every prisoners' belongings.
- The Warden is not obligated, but encouraged, to allow legal representation should the suspect request it.
- The Warden may not hand out any weapons or armor from the Armory. Hardsuits may be issued if emergency EVA action is required.
- The Warden is permitted to carry any non-lethal weaponry, plus a concealed lethal sidearm.
- The Warden must read to every prisoner the crimes they are sentenced for.
- The Warden is not permitted to leave prisoners bucklecuffed to their beds. An exception is made if the prisoner repeatedly attempts to breach their cell in order to escape.
- The Warden is responsible for the health of all prisoners, and must provide them with food and medical attention as required.
- The Warden is responsible for keeping security records updated.
- Lethal force is not permitted unless the person poses an immediate threat to your life. Refer to lethal force guidelines as described under Space Law.
Code Blue
- All Code Green guidelines except 1, and 5 are carried over.

- Security Officers must bring all suspects and compliant witnesses to the Brig.
- Security Officers must ask a person to surrender peacefully before incapacitating them, unless they pose an immediate threat.
- Security Officers are permitted to carry any non-lethal weaponry.
- Security Officers are permitted to conduct searches, provided there is reasonable evidence/suspicion that the person in question has committed a crime.
- Security Officers may not use Armory equipment.
- Security Officers are required to patrol the station except when handling suspects/prisoners, responding to calls, or assigned to guard duty.
- Security Officers cannot force unwilling witnesses to report to the Brig to give a statement.

Detective

- The Detective may not perform arrests or searches. Exception is made if there are no active Security Officers or a Warden.
- The Detective is not permitted to carry any weaponry other than their standard issue equipment. The Detective's revolver and ammo are one of the notable exceptions.
- The Detective may not unholster or fire their revolver unless there is a clear and present danger to their life.
- The Detective may non-lethally incapacitate any crewmember that poses an immediate physical threat to them.
- The Detective may not discard any evidence. It needs to be stored securely for the duration of the shift.
- The Detective may not respond to a crime scene if unrestrained criminals are still present.
Code Blue
- All Code Green guidelines except 2 and 3 are carried over.
- The Detective is permitted to carry any nonlethal weaponry in addition to their revolver.
- The Detective may unholster their revolver, but not fire it unless there is an immediate threat to their life.
Brig Physician
Code Green
- The Brig Physician should tend to the wounds of any security department member.
- The Brig Physician is obligated to tend to the wounds of any prisoner being held in the brig.
- The Brig Physician must be present to verify the death of any prisoner being executed.
- The Brig Physician is not a law enforcement officer, and should not perform the duties of one.
- The Brig Physician is not permitted to carry a weapon on their person.
Code Blue
- The Brig Physician should be present to verify death at executions.
- The Brig Physician is permitted to carry a non-lethal weapon for the purpose of self defense.
- The Brig Physician is permitted to prioritize treatment of security personnel over prisoners in the brig, unless doing so would result in the prisoner's death.
