Antagonist Conduct

While antagonists are there to cause chaos, they are also bound to some rules. Listed below are these rules for both servers. Keep in mind that they are both separate rulesets, one fit for LRP/Golden and the other for MRP/Sage.
Antagonist Conduct
Listed below are the separate rulesets for both servers.
Antagonist Conduct (LRP/Golden)
Antagonists are exempt from IC rules, barring rules regarding erotic roleplay, unless stated otherwise under this. Antagonists must work with their team if they have one, though they may kill other independent antagonists. As a team antag, do not blow the cover of your team if they intend to act stealthily. This applies to team lings as well!
Murderboning
Murderboning is defined as the indiscriminate killing of multiple parties for absolutely no reason. Isolated killings are not murderboning.
- An independent antagonist with a set of objectives must complete at least half of their objectives, rounded up, before murderboning. Having a Hijack or Martyr objective allows an antagonist to murderbone indiscriminately.
- Wizards, Nuclear operatives, and antagonists with no objectives (such as Nightmare or Morph), may murderbone as they please
- Cultists may only murderbone once they reach the halo stage. This also applies to other antags with “stealthy” forms- hivemind, devil, etc. They may only murderbone when they have been revealed.
- Revolutionaries and Gangsters should not murder potential converts, meaning non-mindshielded, non gang personell should be detained or beat into a critical state for conversion. Conversion resistant races, like Plasmamen for revs or IPC’s for gang are difficult to impossible to convert, and may be treated as if they were mindshielded.
- Internal affairs agents may not murderbone, but external affairs may. In the event an Internal Affairs Agent is in possession of either His Grace or the Clown Car, they may murderbone, however.
- Abductors must avoid killing, unless the target has proved themselves a significant threat to them. Abductors may kill those who they cannot do experimental organ replacement on with impunity.
- Certain midround antags (Obsessed, Fugitives, those who gain objectives via abductor organ/brainwash etc) may never murderbone. They are allowed to follow lavaland escalation, but may only kill unprovoked with the intent of completing their objectives.
Murderbone items
- There are two role-specific traitor items that either greatly encourage or flat out require murderbone, these being the clown car and His Grace. Murderboning with these will not be punished.
High Death Roles
- If your role has a method of indiscriminate killing (That is not just walking up to someone with a weapon your role has!), such as an atmos tech opening fusion canisters or a virologist releasing a death plague, they may use these as antag at any time, as long as their antag is allowed to kill already (sorry, virologist who injected himself with fentanyl to gain Obsessed) For obvious reasons, they must be tactful when using these as team antag. This rule is to allow people to shine with their role when they finally get an antagonistic role.
Antagonist Conduct (MRP/Sage)
Antagonists are exempt from IC rules, barring rules regarding erotic roleplay and bigotry, unless stated otherwise under this. Antagonists must work with their team if they have one. As a team antag, do not blow the cover of your team if they intend to act stealthily. This applies to team lings as well!
Murderboning
Murderboning is defined as indiscriminate killing of multiple parties for absolutely no reason. Isolated killings are not murderboning.
Any antagonist not mentioned below who does not have a Hijack or Martyr objective/murderbone item (also listed below) may not murderbone.
- Wizards, Nuclear Operatives, Space Ninjas and Space Dragons may murderbone as they please.
- Abductors must not kill any targets that do not directly threaten them. They are expected to return targets to a place that makes sense, and not take any items the abductors do not need, or that will not be dangerous to the abductors, to be left with them. Abductor’s goal is to experiment and observe!
- Internal affairs agents may not murderbone. External Affairs Agents may.

Behaviour
- Antagonists with no objectives must act in ways suiting their nature. The goal of a Morph is to eat everything , the goal of a Nightmare is to snuff out all lights- and those who keep the station lit. Even Xenomorphs must act for their objective. Their primary goal is to breed and protect their hive.
- All antagonists MUST put their objectives first, and not act contrary to their objectives, unless greentext becomes impossible!
- Antagonists need not hesitate to defend themselves or eliminate witnesses, or people who are “in the way”! While deadchat may be salty and yell at you for murderboning, these do not constitute murderbone, even on MRP. This isn’t a hugbox.
- If you’re able to assassinate security with a low collateral damage method, then you’re allowed to do so preemptively before they’ve shown that they’re a direct threat to you. For example e-swording them in maint would be okay, but maxcapping the brig would not. Abductors already have different rules regarding murder (i.e. avoid it) which applies to them above this rule
